About the artist

Hey there! Jade Ell here, but you can call me Jade. I'm an illustrator way down in sunny Eastbourne, Wellington, and let me tell you, I'm totally obsessed with Aotearoa! From the cheeky tui flitting around to the native flora that's unlike anything you've ever seen, it's a place that just sparks inspiration everywhere you look.

That's why I love capturing it all in my art. It's a mix of pen ink, pencils, and watercolors – a bit of everything to create illustrations that are fun and full of detail, you know, the kind that make you smile and say "hey, that's neat!"

But art shouldn't just be hanging up on fancy walls – it should be around you every day, making you happy! That's why I came up with a bunch of different things you can get with my designs on them. There are prints to brighten up your space, cards to send to your mates (with a Kiwi twist, of course!), and even stationery that's 100% designed and printed right here in New Zealand – how cool is that?
